My name is Tony Scott, I am 35 and run a design studio in Petersfield called Akira Studio Ltd. My interest in horses only began last November when I began working on a new website, Voices For Horses During the project I have spent a great deal of time getting to know these magnificent animals and now work with Emma Kurrels on Voices For Horses along side Akira Studio on a day to day basis. |

Unfortunately I have also became aware of the darker side of the welfare of equines because this is one of the many topics Voices For Horses covers. Through the project I learnt of The International League For the Protection Of Horses and the work they do to help protect and rehabilitate equines.
I started riding lessons not long after getting involved with Voices for Horses and was instantly hooked. After a 4 day ride through The High Country in Australia earlier this year I made the decision that I wanted to support World Horse Welfare (formally the ILPH) charity by entering into one of their challenges.
Over the coming months I will be working on improving my fitness levels and riding skills to prepare myself for the challenge, as spending most of my life behind a desk is a world away from riding at altitudes of 2500 Meters over 30km per day.
The thought of being able to give something back and raise money to help ensure the welfare of others is great and I am counting on the support of people like you to help me on my journey for World Horse Welfare (formally the ILPH)
